- For this blog post I decided to focus on the “font-family” CSS property. I looked up this property on four different resources which included:
- Mozilla
- w3schools
- CSS-TRICKS
- webplatform
- Some differences in the information presented on each site include:
- how some of the sources are very specific while others lack some depth when comparing them like the webplatform source.
- Another thing to include is how some definitions are easier to understand than others like the w3schools source.
- Some features a code reference page should offer include:
- A clear and concise explanations of the properties you’re working on
- Demonstrating the usages in various contexts
- Offering the best practices and additional tips.
- Out of my 4 sources there’s two that stand out:
- My Mozilla source stands out as a particularly good resource due to its detailed explanations, examples, and browser compatibility information.
- My CSS-TRICKS source offers good insights for more advanced users.
- After reading these pages I learned that the font-family property plays a key role and is very versatile in different aspects.
